I have been trying a new runic visualisation which some of you may be interested in. This is really a way to perhaps clear your mind or help 'prepare' your mind for more serious rune working.

The Runes are -  Is-Lagu-Wynn-Rad-Beorc  - I've used the Anglo-Saxon runes names here, but use the names you are more comfortable with as the rune forms do not change.

As you can see from the animated gif below, each rune evolves from the last. As you visualise the rune encourage the next rune to grow from the last. A very simple runic pattern which could be extended so that the runes rotate around the opposite side of the Beorc rune.

AFTER publishing a popular collection of articles from Sword of Wayland magazine, Black Front Press is now proud to present another selection of features from its esoteric sister-publication, Spear of Woden. Launched in 1998, around the same time that Woden's Folk was founded by Wulf Ingessunu, Spear of Woden has long served as an important contribution to the Germanic Heathen corpus and has built up a formidable reputation as one of the magazines at the very forefront of the English Wodenist revival. The book contains over sixty chapters and subjects include The Secret of Silbury Hill, The Holy Runes: FeUrTh, 33-Day Runic Workout, The Holy Runes, The Willow Tree, The Gift-Goddess, A Call to Action, The Yuletide, The Shadow-Warrior, The Aryan Archetype, The Wolfish-Rage, The Sacred Ring, The Sieðr-Witchcraft, Sig-Tiw, ALU-ULA, The Aryan Sun-Cross, Ancient Wisdom, Hyperborea-Atlantis, The Dream Rune, The Stan Rune, Out of the North, Rudra-Chakrin: 'The Wheel-Turner', The Race of Light & The Race of Darkness, Odin on the World Tree, Archetypes & The Aryan Caste System, Archetypes & the Cweord: The Rune of Sigurd & The Broken Sword, The Saxons, The Sunken Continent, Woden-Lithi, Runes as Symbols, The Prophecy of Sajaha & The Third Sargon, The Volkisch Black Flag, The Maypole, Parsifal: The Third Wave, The Symbel (Part One), A Dream of the Reawakening of the English Folk, The Symbel (Part Two), The Ear-Rune, The Spiral, Thunar as an Archetype, The Shadow-Warrior, Runic Postures, Rad, Robin i' the Hood, Bundish Movement, The Wyn-Rune, The World's Chosen, Sindgund & Hretha, Spiritual Healing, Conscious Awareness, Woden Folk-Religion, The Black Sun: A Simple Analysis, All Gods Are One God, Irmin, Tantra, Tree Meditation, Magical Warfare, Ragnarok and, finally, Road to Valhalla: A Tribute to Jonathan Bowden. The contributors are Wulf Ingessunu, Hamasson, Runebinder, Wotan's Krieger, Steed, Essex Jim, Siegfrith and Mike Smith. In years to come, seekers of mystical wisdom will reflect on this remarkable collection of essays in the way that we presently look back to some of the great runic writings of the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries.

"We will have to deal with Christianity in a tougher way than hitherto. We must settle accounts with this Christianity, this greatest of plagues that could have happened to us in our history, which has weakened us in every conflict. If our generation does not do it then it would I think drag on for a long time. We must overcome it within ourselves"

Himmler.

IN MEMORY OF MAY 1ST, 1945

IN MEMORY OF MAY 1ST, 1945
Great Eagle, fold your wings awhile
And turn away your eyes;
In smoke and thunder, flame and blood
Your Best and Highest dies;
And all His happy Land,
His great emprise,
A shattered wreck of ugly ruin lies.
Great Eagle,...

Great Eagle, fold your wings awhile
And turn away your eyes;
In smoke and thunder, flame and blood
Your Best and Highest dies;
And all His happy Land,
His great emprise,
A shattered wreck of ugly ruin lies.

Great Eagle, flee a little while
To some far lonely height.
There shall you watch and wait …
Your land is sunk in night:
All, all those cities bright
In ruins far and wide torment the night.

Oh Eagle, did you hear that shout,
That thundered triple roar?
Its clamourous echoes smote the earth
And rolled from shore to shore;
And all the glorious Dead,
Who fealty swore,
Received Him home;

His earthly flight is o’er.His fight, that made the nations shake,
And hearts and pulses leap,
Is over now. He rests. But we
Are sunk in anguish deep.
He rests,—at last. No dreams
Torture His sleep,
While grave-eyed Angel-guards their watches keep.

Great Eagle, that He worked to save,
And fought to guard,—and died,
Flee from this piteous German wreck,
In some far corner hide,
Until the Land is free
And far and wide,
Throughout the world His name is glorified!

Meanwhile, we hold the heights He won,
And keep His torch aflame;
No slothful ease for us who bear
The honour of His name.
To do His work we count
Higher than fame,
Indifferent to earthly praise or blame.
