There is a certain marching song which was sung by the Hitler Youth, where the lyrics call on the HJ to reject christianity. It is often quoted on various sites around the web, with a varying degree of translations, though they all contain the translation which calls for a rejection of the Pope or the church!

I've have managed to find the words for the original marching song here, in German. Hopefully I'll be able to find the music or a recording of this song being sung.! I can translate only the most basic of German, so a literal translation in English follows the German. One of the first images I ever came across when I first started looking into National Socialism was a photo of the Hitler Youth celebrating the summer solstice (Sommersonnenwende). I didn't need to be told that the Hitler Youth were a pagan organisation - it was obvious. Their spirit was free! There was real happiness in their faces. A Youth awakened and a nation reborn.

We are the joyous Hitler youth,
We do not need any Christian virtue,
Because our leader Adolf Hitler
Is always our Mediator.

No evil priest can ever stop us
We feel we are Hitler's children.
Not Christ we follow, but Horst Wessel,
Away with incense and holy water!

We sing as we follow  our flags
As worthy sons of our ancestors,
I am not a Christian, not a Catholic,
I'll go with SA through thin and thick.

The church can be lost,
The swastika is salvation on earth,
I will follow him at every turn,
Baldur von Schirach, take me with you!
