Change is the only constant!

The runes are part of the Aryan mindset, they are part of our DNA and as such they manifest in our culture in various and unlikely places!

Many people will be aware of the ‘Bluetooth’ function on mobile phones and laptop computers etc.

The name Bluetooth was the nickname of the Viking king Harald Gormsson.

The logo of the ‘Bluetooth’ function is one such example of how the runes have evolved in time and manifested in such a manner as to suit the day and age we live in. The Bluetooth logo is a rune binding from the letters H and B (for Harald Bluetooth)

This may be just a casual example of how the runes have progressed, but certainly a fitting one. For the runes are not confined to history, they will evolve and transform with time, and will manifest in a way that is fitting to this age.

This is why historians and some individuals will never be able to grasp the true meanings of the runes – because they view them as a historical record, something from the past which can only be studied but never ‘felt’. They will never understand the runes as an aspect of our most inner spirit.

The Waffen SS - perfect example of a Deutsche Männerbund

The  Männerbund is the Germanic concept of Male-bonding. Most notable Männerbunds were the SA, Hitler Youth and of course the SS. I recently noticed  that certain individuals attempting to Anglicise  this word - revealing their utter lack of understanding of the meaning of the term!
One Lebensborn emblem was a red Lebensrune - the Life Rune. Far from just the 'Nazi breeding farms' that our enemies claim the Lebensborn to be, the Lebensborn  provided social and emotional support to young German families, they provided medical advice and run classes for young mothers on all aspects of childcare. They also shared their Lebensrune logo with other organisations that trained doctors and other healthcare workers. When I see this emblem - the Life Rune - I am reminded of the quote by Nietzsche,

Pagans are those who say YES to life, for whom ‘god’ is the word for the great Yes to all things.

The curved swastika as a sign of life

The curved swastika has a unique feminine quality about it! This softer and elegant swastika was often used by women’s movements within National Socialism – and (along with the Lebensrune) is a symbol for LIFE. It is the sign for Sunna, the Aryan Sun goddess.

For us National Socialists, the idea of being pro-life means exactly that – we are pro-LIFE, pro-CREATION, pro-FAMILY – for we are not the last of today, but the first of tomorrow! For us the family, our children – the future generations- and our women folk are the most precious things on this Earth. We WILL secure the existence of our race and a future for white children – through the strength and love we give to our children and women folk! Our enemies despise the concept of family. Marxism attempts to destroy the family via indoctrination of our children through media and school. Christianity teaches ‘love Christ over your own mother and father’. Liberalism seeks to dilute the concept of family for the equality of homosexuals. Capitalism seeks to end the family by placing mothers in the workplace. Only National Socialism puts family first!

To us, the gentle swastika symbolises this Worldview. It is not the symbol for hate, as our enemies proclaim, but one of love; love for this green earth, love for our history and our people. The swastika is a symbol of life – for life.

Faith Folk Freedom and Fatherland!

All people upon this earth have the right to follow their own destiny. We shall do so under the sign of the Holy Swastika.

The gentle curve of the feminine swastika!

Raise the Sword!

The sword has long been a symbol for rebellion. As we have seen in previous posts, the Red Sword, along with a White Plough, was a rallying symbol for many rural uprisings - a true Bauerntum banner!

The Sword is the symbol of the Saxon god Seaxnot  - god of the East Angles. His symbol of the long Seax that still remains on the flags of Essex and Middlesex. Irmin is yet another Saxon sword god, whose other symbols include the white rose. The white rose symbol appears on the flags of Yorkshire, as well as Saxony presidential flags in Germany.  The 'Death' tarot card often combines the Sword and White Rose symbols.

Heathen use of Sword symbolism is an upright sword - a sword raised pointing towards the sky, an invocation to the sky gods - as seen here in the logo of the Vitt Ariskt Motstånd. This is also why the Red Sword on the London flag is also pointing up - because this was the Sword of the the rural and peasant revolts - (pagan means rural). Many statues of christian kings (such as the one in of Alfred in Winchester) often show them holding up a downwards pointing sword - forming a christian cross.

click to enlarge image - notice the Irminsul embroidery

This Hitler Youth flag shows some very interesting symbolism. This just one side of the banner - the other side depicted a Plough (again - Sword and Plough symbolism). I've not seen many references to this flag - (the swastika within the diamond tells us it was Hitler Youth) and I think it was home-made by party members. But what is really interesting is that in red (upon the red flag so that it is hard to see) is an embroidered Irminsul!

Blut und Boden!

First coined in the late 1900's,  Blood and soil was the term used by Walter Darre’s agricultural movement in National Socialist Germany. Since then the term has become synonymous with his movement – and for good reason!

Blood and Soil
is the ultimate expression of
National Socialism!

The rune Darre used for his movement was the Erda rune. The Erda is the rune of the Earth (the only planet in our solar system with a Germanic name!) Here we see an excellent example of how the runes have developed and taken on new deeper meanings. The Erda rune evolved from the Odal rune, however the ‘legs’ now bend back up, and the initiate sees new meaning! As part of the Artaman and the Ahnenerbe, Darre himself had studied runelore – and understood full well the meaning of this rune when he chose it as his emblem!
The Erda rune is a female counter to the  Ear/Cweorth rune. The rune of the Earth-Mother (Erda) who embraces the Sky-Father (Woden)

Folkish Runes

reposted from the ArKanRuneLag blog

I am going to use the term Folkish Runes in order to distinguish the Ar-Kan Rune-Lag system from the 'academic' study of runes, which really means that the rune-meanings stay the same eternally simply because new insights are dismissed because they are not 'valid' and 'historical'. Guido von List had a mystical experience whilst blinded through a cataract operation, and thus created the 18-rune Armanen System and the High Armanen Orden which disseminated his teachings. Other rune-magicians and rune-workers also took up this system and developed it with their own ideas - and thus it became a working system for the German Revolution that brought the Triumph of the Will in 1933.

The Armanen System has been taken up by Don Miguel Serrano of Chile who has further developed this system, added more ideas to it, and created a working system designed to achieve the Resurrection of the Arya. It can thus be seen that the runes are not static and do not have set meanings, but evolve themselves through the work of Initiates who gain further insight into the use and meanings of the Ancient Runes. Without these insights the runes would not be effective at all.

We should never dismiss academic study since these people are the experts in their field and have access to the books for research, which we will not always have. But what we need to realise is that academics are only 'experts' with the material that they have, which in the case of the runes is very little. And their work could never go any further unless new material came to hand; it is also true to say that much dogma creeps in when we realise that much of what is done is no less 'speculation' and 'individual interpretation' than that of the more magico-mystical rune-workers who are inspired (by Woden) to gain new insights into the Runic Mysteries.

Those people that criticise the work of the more magico-mystical rune-workers are usually the people who cannot gain insights into the runes, maybe because they were never meant to. Because their work can go no further it seems they do not wish anyone else to achieve what they cannot. It would be far better if such people were to cease their criticism and to work the way they are able to work, and with their academic knowledge were to put forward the facts of what there is, and then others could interpret these and so help the runes to evolve.

If we look at the Anglo-Saxon Rune-Row we can see clearly that every rune-meaning is mundane and linked to the material level - on the surface. If we take these meanings literally these meanings would serve very little purpose at all. But when we consider that ancient teachings were based upon symbolism then we can begin to see the purpose behind each rune-meaning. It is also important to note that the rune-staves have shapes that give us more information about each one. One example is the Rad-Rune which is a zig-zag shape (Blood) running down a Pillar (Upright Stave) and thus is the Rune of Sacrifice. Nowhere is this meaning given in any of the rune-rows, but the symbolism gives us these insights. This rune is also connected to the Dream of the Rood in that the rune-name links to the Rood (Gallows-Tree) and also to the Hanged God on the Bleeding Tree which features in this Old English text. Again, nowhere do we find this in the rune-poem, but the idea is inherent in the rune-stave and others works that give further insight into this meaning.

When I was young I kept experiencing visions of an ancient book that opened and showed me ancient knowledge. This I could not understand at the time, until I grew a little older and started to read and to study in order to gain knowledge. Then the visions stopped. Looking back on this some Higher Power was forcing me into reading and gaining knowledge. But there is much more to this, since it would seem that certain books are meant to be read by certain individuals, as if they were written especially for them to read, and thus interpret. This would seem impossible when we regard time as linear, but when we consider that time is cyclic, then this seems far more feasible, since they were written at one point of a cycle in order to be interpreted at another point - and thus used in the Eternal Struggle that we have undertaken as Einheriar who are resurrected at certain times of the cycle to wage this Eternal Struggle.

After doing a meditation on the Tir-Rune one night before going to sleep (some years ago) I had a strange dream that I was standing on an open field looking up towards a Holy Mountain and a voice was telling me 'the polarity of the Earth is changing - this will herald the arrival of the Superman'. Now, nothing in any of the rune-poems suggest that the Tir-Rune has any meaning like this, but logic tells us that it is a rune of direction since it looks like an arrow (or spear) and an arrow is used to symbolise direction. So this rune actually does refer to polarity (which is direction) and thus the meaning of the dream has some truth in it that cannot be seen using an 'academic' approach to the runes.

We can use the Edel-Rune (Odal Rune/Adal Rune) as another example, since the basic meaning is 'inherited property'. On the surface, at the mundane level of meaning given in the rune-poems, this refers to the property passed on from generation to generation - i.e. the home and the land. However, the other 'inherited property' that we have is our genetic inheritance, passed down from generation to generation. So within the Odal-Rune we have the Folkish concept of Blood and Soil. The Blood (DNA - Genetic Inheritance) and The Soil (Inherited Land of the Folk - the Odal Right). The Odal-Rune is made up of a Germanic Ing-Rune and the Gyfu-Rune as a bind-rune, and thus has the meaning Gift of Ing (I think this was pointed out by Freya Aswynn in Leaves of Yggdrasil). The Ing-Rune in its Saxon version has the shape of the DNA Spiral and is thus associated with the Blood and the Genetic Inheritance which is the Gift of Ing. These two runes are linked in the Blood & Soil concept. This is the mystical link between the Blood of the Folk and the Soil of the Folkland.

In the Anglo-Saxon Rune Poem we find that 'Ing follows his waen eastwards over the waves' which if taken literally would be very much like Jesus Christ walking on water! But if we recognise the symbolism that underlies this statement we can find two simple meanings -

1. Ing (Venus - the Morning Star) follows the Sun-Waen (Sun) eastwards over the waves (day skies), and sets as the Evening Star in the West.

2. Ing (Bootes) follows Woden's Waen (Great Bear) eastwards over the waves (night skies) revolving around the Pole Star.

Now the whole thing makes sense, since we have not taken this as a literal meaning, but as a symbolic meaning. Indeed, the constellation of Bootes can be seen as an alternative Ing-Rune on some occasions. The figure of Ingwe/Ing can thus be seen as important to the most ancient Polar Mythos and also to the later Solar Mythos. But the symbolism of this figure is the same for both eras.

I have shown in my book and also in many of my writings how August 11th 1999 (Solar Eclipse) heralded the conception of the Age of Ing and also the Resurrection of Ingwe as the God of this World Age. I have also shown how the name Ingwe can also be found in certain 'Celtic' texts from these islands, and that the figure referred to is a One-Eyed God, which must link this to Woden in another of his guises - although this is not made obvious in any myth or legend in either English or Norse. Of course, we could consider the title 'Ygg' or 'Igg' as linked to Ing, since in the Greek Language the letters 'gg' are pronounced 'ng'.

On a rather more speculative level NG can be seen as the Broken S-word that has been re-forged, since the letters 'n' and 'g' are today separate letters, whereas originally they were one single sound 'NG'. The symbolism is clear in that this refers to the re-forging of the Broken S-word which itself symbolises the Resurrection of Ing. We have seen how the Odal-Rune is the Gift of Ing and we should note that the Gar-Rune is also the Gift of Ing (Ing-Gyfu bind-rune again) and this is the Spear of Woden. The famous sword Miming is the 'Memory of Ing', and taking all this together the figure known as Ingwe must have had some significance and importance that has been lost with time.

In interpreting the runes in these ways we are not changing the rune-meanings, we are merely giving new interpretations of them, which we could not do were we to consider their meanings in a 'historical' context, or through a literal interpretation of the rune-poems, rather than seeing them as symbols.

We have already seen how the Germanic term Aryan means farmer and that the plough is an Aryan symbol.

From the root AR we find that the Aryan is bound to the soil. Ar gives us our word arable.

The Old English word 'Erian' (Aryan) was someone who ploughed the land. The Gothic 'Arjan' meant the same. The plough was also a pre-NS symbol for resistance! If we look at ancient Aryan homelands, we find that place names reflected this and arable land meant land farmed by the Aryans.

Eire - Ireland; Ariāna - Peria; Iran; Āryāvarta - North India

The Artaman League first started to use the title Wehrbauer - a Warrior Farmer or Peasant Soldier. The National Socialist later adopted the term after Artaman membership merged with the NSDAP. These new warrior-farmers both defended the boarders of a Greater Germany, as well as growing the food and working the soil.

The Flags of the Wehrbaurer were often homemade - with no single standard, however three important symbols were nearly always combined - The Volkisch Black Banner - The Plough of the Aryan - The Red Sword of Resistance!

The Red Sword appears on the Flag for the City of London. There are two legends connected to the London Red Sword - one is it is the symbol for st Paul - the christian patron of the city. The second is that it represents the Blooded Sword used to kill the Peasant leader Wat Tylor during Englands Peasant Revolts. Though the legend of st Paul is older (and therefore more often excepted) I think that as a symbol for the Peasant uprising is far more fitting- and the fact that both England and Germany share the symbol as a Peasant and Wehrbauer sign means it is far more appealing. The idea of armed peasant soldiers wasn't unheard of in England - for the Anglo-Saxon Fyrd was of the same principle.

The Volkisch Black Flag

The Black Flag is often flown by anarchists, and they will claim the Black Flag as their own - but the origins of the Black Flag are really in the Volkisch history of the Aryan tribes, and especially in the Mannerbunds and War-Cults. The Schwarze Fahne has always been a flag of RESISTANCE and REVOLUTION. A flag for National Socialism!

It must be pointed out here at true National Socialism is very unlike the civic and zionist controlled 'cultural' nationalism we see in England, for National Socialism is Revolutionary - but again, it should not to be confused with the left wing Reactionary.  National Socialism is a Spiritual Weltanschauung that stands outside the political spectrum.

The Black flag was once the Banner of the Indo-Aryan goddess Kali. She was a war-goddess, whose chariot was pulled by Tigers. Her lust for war meant she would be depicted as black, her banner was black, even her name means black. In many ways her cult was similar to the Germanic goddess Freya - another war-goddess who cat drawn chariot leads her to battle.

Across the Aryan homelands, of what is now the Middle East - Aryan tribes flew the Black Banner of War. This region was called Ariana (countries like Iran take their name from the term Aryan) and the tribes who lived their were the Aryans. As the tribes migrated so did the wisdom, customs and traditions of the Aryans - which still live on in this region - long after the Aryan people who no longer dwell in this part of the world. However the flags of this region today, all contain the colours of the Aryan people - Black White and Red. Many tribes still have blue eyes and Aryan traits.

Known as the 'White Tribe' of Pakistan -
the Kalash are direct descendants of Alexander the Great.
The Kalash are neither Muslim or Christian - but still follow their pagan religion.
The Kalash pagans are believed to have hidden Osama bin Laden from US/UK forces.

The British invaded Afghanistan numerous times during the late 1800's. The objective was to control the opium drug trade. The battle flag of the Afghan tribes at the time had been the same as the pagan warrior cult from ancient Aryan times - the Black Flag. The British army was defeated then, however as part of the NWO they occupy this ancient Aryan homeland once more - and opium production is now at its highest. The Taliban who sort to destroy the poppy fields still use the same Afghan Black Flag, but with the addition of Islamic script.

Whilst on the subject of this region - I feel that I should mention something regarding the word 'Stan', as many of the countries, and within them the smaller regions, all end with this suffix. The word Stan means boundary stone, so has a slightly different meaning to the suffix 'land', however it is the same as the Anglo Saxon rune Stan (St) which means stone. Here we have yet another example of how ancient the roots of the runes are!

During the Germanic Peasant uprisings the Black Flag became a rallying banner for the Peasant cause. Florian Geyer (1490-1525) was a noble-man and knight, but sided with the peasantry against the Catholic church. His sword was said to have the inscription  "Nulla crux, nulla corona" (Neither cross nor crown) inscribed along the blade. Geyers banner was the folkish Black Flag.

The Maypole

The Germanic traditions that surround the Maypole have their origins in the pre-christian pagan religion of Northern Europe. The Maypole represented the World Axis - to which our Saxon ancestors called the Irminsul. The raising of a Maypole was part of the welcoming of Summer. Trees were decorated and the folk sang and danced around them. The German for Maypole is Maibaum - literally 'May Tree' - again another reference to the World Axis - the Nordic World Tree or Yggdrasil.

It varies across Europe as to when the Maypole is rised - some parts at the beginning of May to coincide with the Mayday holidays - whilst in other places the custom has become absorbed into Christianity and the Maypole is raised on Whitsun.

In the Nordic countries the Maypole is called the Majtræ, again meaning the May Tree, and is most often raised at Midsummer. Here we see how the May Tree - being a Summer Tree is ritualised in the same manner, but at an opposing time of the year - as the Yuletide tree.

Today the Maypole has almost vanished from England. It was still a custom when I was at school, however there are now very few villages and greens in England that still raise a Maypole. Multiculturalism has certainly seen an end to that! But the Maypole traditions are still strong across Europe, especially in Germany, where the holidays of Walpurgisnacht, Mayday and the Raising of the Maypole all merge into a long and healthy season of Sun worship, folk-community spirit, and most important of all - they keep the Heathen spirit of Germania alive!

A Maypole with Swastika is raised over Berlin!

National Socialist farmers kept German tradition alive.

May Day!

May Day was once a Germanic pagan holiday- Walpurgisnacht, nowadays it is widely known as a Worker's day, or at least a Workers holiday! As a Workers party - the National Socialists honoured the German worker on this day - and National Socialists from all around the world were also invited to Germany to share in this once pagan celebration!

Many people ignore National Socialism's 'socialist' side, however the National Socialists grew out of the DAP - the German Workers Party and I would encourage everyone to read National Socialism - A Leftwing Movement (link here) and we should never forget this important fact.

What an irony that today the holiday is plagued by great swathes of unwashed, unemployed students and anarchists, who riot across the cities of Europe - yet claim this as their day - a Workers day!
