Charity starts at home!

Whilst the UK, like so many other European nations  poor millions of pounds into failed political projects like the EU, or continue to give rising Super powers like China and India millions in foreign aid - (whilst neglecting our own poorest folk)  - NS Germany's attitude to charity was very different.

The Winterhilfswerk (Winter Help Work-WHW) was a National Socialist charity drive founded by the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt  (the National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization) who raised funds and collected donations which went to supporting Germany's poorest folk. Their slogan was "None shall starve nor freeze". Funds raised by the GERMAN FOLK were given back to the GERMAN FOLK!

The above picture is a WHW collection tin, along with an Odal rune - the rune of the Homeland. What better rune to symbolise the belief in aiding your country and folk!

One for All!
All for one!

Young girls of the BDM sell tinnies (badges) to raise money for the WHW
